Hi there! Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

My name is Lauren and I am a twenty-something female and soon to be resident of Philadelphia, PA where I am about to start law school!   I grew up in a small town in New York, close enough to New York City that it’s not “Upstate” but far enough away that it isn’t the ‘burbs either. I graduated in 2008 from Penn State University (best place on Earth!) with a B.A. in Psychology, a concentration in Business, and a Minor in International Studies. I moved to Washington, DC immediately after graduation to work for a corporate law firm as a legal secretary and test out the waters in the legal world. Though my job since graduation has had its ups and downs, I know law school is definitely the route for me!

I am starting at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia in August of 2010 and I could not be more excited! Now, with some spare time before the start of school, I hope to combine all my passions of cooking, running, nutrition, andeating through this blog.  With the upcoming entrance of law school, I also hope to use it as an outlet for all the pre/during law school anxieties.  I hope you’re up for following me on this ride!

A Little Health Background

As a daughter of a dietitian, health through proper nutrition and balance has been a staple in my life ever since I can remember.  Though this balance was thrown off during my college years and immediately after graduation-that’s what happens when you go to the #1 Party School in the Nation!- healthful eating and living is back in my life with a vengeance and I am more interested and dedicated to it than ever before.  I cannot wait to share with all of you my daily eats, recipes, helpful info/articles, and food adventures I come across along the way!

Check out the other sections of my blog to learn more about being fit, full, and law school-bound!

Anything I didn’t mention and you want to know?  Feel free to leave a comment or email me at legallyfitfull@gmail.com

I look forward to hearing from you!
